Our aim is to help you navigate the technology demands of the modern world. Even if you don't see the the help you need in the "Services we provide" list, contact us so we can have a chat about how best to help at a price that doesn't break the bank. You may even be able to pay for our services through your aged care plan, but please check with your plan manager first.

We can help you with your computer whatever the issue. It may be running slowly or needing an update, let us help you get your device running to the best of its capability. We can run checks to make sure your computer is clear of viruses and show you how to effectively use the file system so you can store and retrieve information important to you.

Internet, Wifi and Staying Safe online

You may need help connecting to the Internet, let us take the hassle out of your connection issues so you can be surfing the net safely and securely. We can show you how to easily access your favourite internet sites, using features like bookmarks. We can help you connect to your streaming services like Netflix. We can also advise you on how to set up your security software to protect you from malicious hackers.

Phones

Smart phones are a part of modern day life but for those of us over 50, they can be confusing to set up and to use. We can guide you on how to best use your phone so you can access social media and maybe even do some face time with your loved ones.

Tech 4 Seniors was started by Joe Novella out of concern for his parents, both in their 80s, who were constantly struggling with the demands of the modern technological world. Having been an I.T professional, working for global companies like Hewlett Packard, and now getting closer to retirement age himself, Joe decided it was time to use his skills in a business that can help people like his Mum and Dad.

Sure, while our main focus is helping our senior citizens, we're happy to help anyone who needs it whether they are 20, 50 or 75.

We charge $50 an hour and we can get a lot done in that time, and that doesn't include you describing your issue, or having a chat as we like to do, we're a friendly bunch. We only charge for the time we are actually working on your problem.

Before we commence working on your challenge we will give you a quote on how long we feel it will take to resolve your issue and we will not invoice you more than the quote amount even if it takes us longer than expected to fix your issue.

We would love to provide our services Australia Wide but given that we are a very small team, we have to keep our service area manageable. At the moment we service Melbourne Metro, Bayside and South Eastern suburbs and Mornington Peninsula areas. If you don't fall within this area, contact us and maybe we can support you over the phone or teleconference.

We make sure we're up to date with covid and flu vaccines so that we meet Victorian State regulations.

We will never ask for your sensitive information like passwords, bank account or credit card details while we are solving your issue. At all times we will respect the privacy of your information.

Yes, we do. Our staff must have a clear Police Check status and valid Working with Children check. We pride ourselves on being open and honest and we welcome any of your questions around our qualifications and/or policies and procedures.

No problems. If the original problem you called us for is still occurring, we will come back to resolve it, no charge to you.

Generally, we try to everything at your location but occasionally we may need to take your equipment back with us to resolve the issue. We will never do that unless you are comfortable to allow us to do so.

Our service techs hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
